Doc Gallagher, a celebrated broadcaster and author, is Chief Executive Officer and President of Gallagher Financial Group, where he oversees daily operations. The company provides guidance, investment education, and financial planning tools to its clients. The firm also furnishes consultation for estate planning, wealth preservation, taxes, and income enhancement.

Doc Gallagher began his career as a teacher and medic in the Peace Corps, for which the government of Thailand awarded him the Foreign Service Award. Gallagher also received the Outstanding Young Men of America Award during this time for his humanitarian service.

A former faculty member at Texas Christian University, Gallagher earned his PhD from Brown University and has led a successful career in financial journalism. He has authored four books and more than 70 articles. He regularly offers motivational lectures, notably at Zig Ziglar’s Born to Win conferences, and has given life-enhancement and financial-planning presentations for members of assorted Fortune 500 companies.

Gallagher has also served as a radio host on a variety of stations, including KLTY, KRLD, KTXM-TV, and ABC Radio Network. He currently hosts The Money Doctor radio show and has earned the nickname of America’s Money Doctor.

Doc Gallagher is also a Certified Elder Planning Specialist and Certified Senior Advisor. Mature Texan Magazine named him one of the 25 Best Services, Companies, and Organizations for Seniors. The designation is awarded to companies and organizations that show strong leadership abilities through community outreach, customer service, and services. Gallagher also presents the Ms. Texas Senior Pageant, which celebrates 25 outstanding Texan women with an annual day of glory.
